Narmada 2014 Cabernet Franc (Virginia)

On the nose, there is a keen note of charred oak. Underneath, there are faint black cherry and earthy, herbal accents. In flavor, it doesn't contain much fruit—there is more charred oak and a buttery quality. The finish is plush, with sweet oak and spice. Carrie Dykes
