Nasiakos 2006 Agiorgitiko (Peloponnese)

Sweet, jammy aromas and flavors of red berry, spice and pepper are attractive, but overall, this red wine from the Peloponnese fails to impress. There's a bitter, somewhat indigenous edge to the wine that requires softening, probably with a spicy meat dish like lamb kebobs. Susan Kostrzewa
