Naumes 2018 Barbera (Rogue Valley)

Smoky, toasty, chocolaty and smooth, this is a seductive wine sourced from a single vineyard in the Rogue Valley. The fruit touches lightly on pink and red berries, but it's the barrel flavors that push on through. After 10 months in a mix of new, once-filled and neutral French oak, the wine has emerged with all the edges sanded smooth and highlights of tobacco, mocha and sandalwood. Paul Gregutt
