Naumes 2018 Viognier (Rogue Valley)

As in past vintages, three-quarters was fermented in concrete egg, the rest in a new puncheon. There's a not-unpleasant waxy feeling to the lemon and orange fruit, and the flavors plunge deeply down through the palate. It's a lively and persistent wine, which finishes with a slight burn. Paul Gregutt
