Naumes 2019 Viognier (Rogue Valley)

Fermented in a roughly equal mix of concrete egg and puncheon, this opens with aromas of grapefruit skin and honeysuckle. It seems to flatten out on the palate, with broad flavors of citrus flesh and rind dominating. The acidity carries it out the finish, with lingering grapefruit and light green botanical flavors.
