The Riverbend vineyard (owned by Fielding Hills) is the fruit source; this dense and dark Cabernet Sauvignon mixes blackberry and cassis fruit with streaks of graphite, iron and granite. It has plenty of muscle, with the tannins, though ripe enough, taking charge of the finish. This is a wine to cellar for a few more years.
