Roasted plum and black cherry compote are accented by whiffs of sweet spice and autumn leaves in this powerfully concentrated Syrah. Moderately full in body, it's opulent but subtly earthen, too, and finishes on ripe, mouthfilling tannins. Approachable already yet should improve through 2027. Anna Lee C. Iijima
