This shows a good amount of funk with its matchstick, mushroom and toast aromas. There's a speckle of lime leaf and grass to remind you that this is Sauvignon Blanc, after all, but mostly it is its own beast entirely. Oily yet grainy in texture with a whiff of smoke on the finish, there's just enough acid to keep you going back for more.
