A Port that is close to a classic vintage Port in quality, because Niepoort makes a traditional style of LBV, which can age in the bottle. This wine is big and tannic, with acidity and flavors of dried fruits. Its dry style and tannins mean it will show well beyond its LBV pedigree, and age well over 10 years. —R.V.
