89pointsNieto Senetiner 2004 Don Nicanor Malbec (Luján de Cuyo)

Starts out a bit woody and toasted, but time allows dark and burly fruit to enter the fray—and the end result is alluring. On the palate, it's nice and plummy, with chocolate as well. Full-bodied and ripe, this is Mendoza Malbec as we've come to know and like it. Michael Schachner
