Sharp and defined aromas of white flowers and dried cheddar cheese make for an interesting nose. Tart but ripe apricot and pear flavors work well together on the tongue. The dry, simple finish is apropos for an easy drinker such as this. When asked if you'd like an apéritif, say “yes,” if this one is on offer. —M.S.
