Peach and nectarine aromas show a hint of barrel influence but not too much. A high-acid palate keeps this oak-aged Verdejo on the citric and tangy side, while flavors of lemon, underripe nectarine, vanilla and wood grain finish full, oily and salty, with leftover zesty acidity. Michael Schachner
