Norris 2020 Dry Norris McKinley Vineyard Riesling (Ribbon Ridge)

With fruit coming from a vineyard planted in 2007, this wine was barrel aged on lees for 12 months. The aromas lack clarity, with notes of herb, a spring field, wheat and lime. Bone dry, almost austere flavors follow. There are interesting pieces but they don't quite make a whole. Sean P. Sullivan
