Novus 2004 Chardonnay (Mendoza)

Gold in color and on the dry, waxy side. Shows mineral and dried fruits on the nose, with heavy pear and apple bulking up the palate. Finishes short, with some pithy bitterness. But good overall, with a roundness that's appealing. Imported by South Valley Wines. Michael Schachner
