95pointsNyetimber 2013 Tillington Single Vineyard (England)

A subtle hint of wet stone and sourdough has the faintest idea of honey about it. The autolytic richness suggested on the nose is countered on the palate by pure, lively and lemony freshness. The fizz is very fine and creamy but you get the idea that this is still a bit young and needs more bottle age. This wine's appeal is about soil and place rather than up-front fruit. The harmonious finish is dry and long. Grant this some bottle age and then enjoy the classy creaminess this promises. Drink 2020–2028. Anne Krebiehl MW
