Twenty months in oak has created coconut aromas to go with the ripe, sappy boysenberry scents that are draped on this studly, full-force RDD. The palate is a powder keg of massive blackberry, boysenberry and chocolate flavors, and the finish is like a retaining wall that keeps everything focused on the impressive midpalate.
