Like most O. Fournier signature reds, this is dark, extracted and modern in style. The bouquet is full of rubber, marzipan, exotic spice and lemon-like aromas. It shows a rawness on the palate along with toasty dark-berry and lemon flavors. The finish is oaky, with tangy acids and a spot of heat. This is a blend of 80% Cabernet Franc, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Carignan. Drink now–2015.
