This is an authoritative Red Mountain Cabernet, from a rising star with an excellent young vineyard. Great structure and a spine of steel support a tightly-wound core of pure cassis. The tannins are hard but fully ripe, with black olive, coffee grounds and bourbon barrel highlights.
