Occhioverde 2006 Merlot (San Carlos)

Cherry aromas cross over into cough drop country, while the palate is a mix of plum and berry flavors with pepper. The feel is tight, but there isn't much variety of depth. Not a bad wine, but it doesn't develop much momentum. Michael Schachner
