Leafy and dry smelling, with exotic lavender and cumin aromas to go with brushy dried berry, pine and smoked meat. Feels good and healthy despite being eight years old, with tobacco, leafy red fruit and earthy, dry flavors. A little stalky, roasted and herbal but very nice. 60% Tempranillo, 25% Cabernet and 15% Merlot. Michael Schachner
