Ochoa 2018 Calendas Garnacha Rosé (Navarra)

This Navarran Garnacha rosé is red for the most part, and the nose is not fresh but is instead funky, cheesy and stalky. A chunky palate doesn't shine, while this tastes oddly greasy and shy on fruit. Unfortunately, this is consistent with recent vintages. Michael Schachner
