Ogier 2018 Dentellis (Gigondas)

A whisper of camphor lends a brambly, herbal tone to ripe, almost ruddy, red-plum and dried-strawberry flavors in this wine. A blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre matured 12 months in seasoned, neutral foudres, it's opulently textured but freshly balanced, framed by fine-grained, persistent tannins. Best now–2030.
