Ogier 2018 Oratorio Red (Vacqueyras)

Glossy blueberry and blackberry flavors are accented by clove and spice in this profoundly ripe, cream-textured blend of Grenache (65%) and Syrah (35%). It's an unctuous, intensely ripe wine balanced by sunny acidity and fine, baby-soft tannins. A hedonistic sip that's at peak already but should hold through 2025. Anna Lee C. Iijima
