Tasted in late 2021, this slim yet richly textured Pinot Noir offers luscious preserved plum and cassis shaded by savory, spicy layers of earth, anise and truffled game. Sourced from the Siebeldinger Sommerseite vineyard, named for its intensely sunny exposure, it is concentrated and weighty in black fruit but maintains invigorating bright acidity. At peak now, the wine should hold through 2027. Anna Lee C. Iijima
