Old Creek Ranch 2017 El Camino Red (Central Coast)

Black-plum, dried rose-petal, dark-strawberry and oak aromas show on the nose of this blend of 51% Grenache, 36% Syrah, 10% Petite Sirah and 3% Viognier. The oak shows again on the sip, framing the baked strawberry, cherry and hibiscus flavors, which are wrapped in a firm tension. Matt Kettmann
