Old Forester Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Fragrant, flowery, popcorn-like aroma; aeration reveals underlying scents of sweet grain, ripe red plums, spice and buttered sweet corn. The palate entry is hard, brittle and unwelcoming; at midpalate there's a slight reflection of the fetching grainy aroma, but that's washed away in a torrent of oaky resin. Ends up bitter and biting. P.P.
