O'Leary Walker 2001 Chardonnay (Adelaide Hills)

Nut and stone fruit notes vie for center stage on this wine, and the race is neck in neck. Smoky, nutty aromas smolder against a backdrop of pear on the nose, and on the palate, peach takes the lead with nuts, toast and butter falling into the background. It's a medium-weight wine, straightforward and good.
