Olenik 2016 Joseph Andrew Pinot Noir (Chehalem Mountains)

Just a few barrels were made here (most of the estate's grapes are purchased by other wineries, including Patricia Green), but this cuvée saw a bit more oak during the aging. The baking spices are well balanced against the natural acidity and light, pretty berry flavors. A streak of caramel adds interest through a gently toasty finish. Paul Gregutt
