While Pernand-Vergelesses, which is located in the shadow of the Corton-Charlemagne hill, is a lesser-known appellation, it produces some attractive, crisp wines such as this selection. Carefully balanced wood aging enhances the pear and Golden Delicious apple flavors, which come with a touch of minerality. Textured and fruity on the finish.
