87pointsOlson Ogden 2004 Unti Vineyard Syrah (Dry Creek Valley)

Richly fruity and ripe, almost sweet in plum sauce, espresso and pomegranate flavors, this is a young wine. It has fresh, firm tannins and a citrusy cut of acidity. A little immature right now; should hold and improve by early 2007, and drink well for a year or two.
