From a newer estate producer, this bottling shows plenty of age-worthy trains. Aromas of crushed pencil, dried herb, berry, leather, iodine and smoke make for a rugged entry to the nose. The palate is dark, dry and leathery, true to Tempranillo with grilled blackberry flavors and thick tannins. Drink now-2034. Matt Kettmann
