Oregon Mountain Estate 2016 Natasha Skov Pinot Noir (Columbia Valley (OR))

Headquartered in The Dalles, on the Oregon side of the huge Columbia Valley AVA, this simple wine offers generic berry-fruit flavors. It's quite tart, and may be too sour for some palates. Extended maceration has pushed up the tannins. One of two quite similar-looking bottles, this was made by Natasha Skov as indicated on the back label. Paul Gregutt
