Exuberant in red fruit, this is a softly textured Zinfandel, high in acidity with evolved tannins. Layered, complex and food-friendly, the imprint of red berry and brambly blackberry juiciness is joined by swirls of nuanced vanilla and a touch of oak. There's a sprinkling of black pepper on the palate, too.
