Ousterhout 2012 Dellinger Vineyard Rosé of Pinot Noir Rosé (Russian River Valley)

Editors' Choice

This is the finest of the winery's three new rosés, and kudos to them for specializing in blush. The vineyard is in the Green Valley, and the wine shows long hangtime raspberry and cherry fruit, brightened with crisp acidity. It all leads to a dry, spicy finish, and the alcohol is a refreshingly low 13.2% by volume.
