The start is a bit foresty but under the microscope this blend has the chops to deserve a Best Buy call out. The palate is perfectly ripe and loaded with plum, berry and vanilla from the oak. It is easy to take and finishes in clean, medium-length fashion. Nothing complicated; just a good-drinking red wine for not much cash.
