Oveja Negra 2014 Single Vineyard Carmenère (Maule Valley)

Ripe raisiny berry aromas come with clove and nutmeg notes suggestive of spice cake. A plump dense palate is saturated, while this tastes leafy, slightly soapy and like blackberries mixed with herbs. A plump but balanced finish maintains a theme of full-bodied ripeness. Michael Schachner
