Owen Roe 2012 Red (Yakima Valley)

Editors' Choice

This blend of Merlot (36%), Cabernet Franc (35%), Cabernet Sauvignon (27%) and Malbec is somewhat light in color with notes of dried herbs, black currant, flowers and barrel spices. The blackberry and cherry flavors are concentrated, sweet, rich and focused without carrying excess alcoholic weight. Firm tannins provide the frame. Sean P. Sullivan
