Chardonnay may not be the first of the Oyster Bay wines you reach for, but this wine delivers a solid example of what Marlborough can do with the variety. This is on the richer side, with notes of butter, ripe melon, green beans and sea spray, all tucked into a creamy, full-bodied palate that lets its oak influence be known without compromising the fruit.
