Out of the chute, this Syrah is downright weird, with roasted, funky aromas of red fruit, citrus and green herb. A fleshy, sticky, thick mouthfeel is lacking in balance, while this tastes of burnt, nutty berry fruits that finish green and herbal. Michael Schachner
