Page Springs 2007 Arizona Stronghold Vineyard Mourvèdre (Cochise County)

Well-done in a very exuberant style, with blackberry jam and tar notes layered over animal scents and wood ash. The palate is concentrated and mouthwatering, winding down to a lingering raspberry finish. Serve with hearty fare. May improve with a year or two in the cellar.
