Pages Vedrenne “Forgotten Casks” Vat 48 Rare Cognac

Another muted bouquet with aromas of dark chocolate malt, old oak and old wood-paneled library that don't evolve in the glass. Entry is very sweet and intensely honeyed but balanced by the acidity; at midpalate the flavor becomes chocolatey. Finishes buttercreamy and raisiny sweet. The sweetness will not be to every Cognac lover's liking. P.P.
