Palacio de Villachica 2001 4T (Toro)

Seems like the winery's 5T bottling gets the riper grapes and this one gets the thin, sour stuff. Some oak helps cover up the lean fruit, but the palate remains tart and sharp, with flavors of pie cherry and cranberry. Michael Schachner
