Dried fennel, wet black clay and loam, minty tobacco, exotic cinnamon, pressed hibiscus and rich raspberry show on the nose of this bottling from a vineyard planted in 1998. The palate offers lots of fruit, with more raspberry, tart strawberry, candied red apple and pomegranate. Tons of graphite minerality and herbal backbone keep it savory and elegant.
