Panther Creek 2017 Kalita Vineyard Pinot Noir (Yamhill-Carlton)

Editors' Choice

This is an outstanding vintage for the Kalita designate, which opens with sharp, spicy flavors of cranberry, raspberry and Bing cherry fruit. The tannins are balanced and moderate; time in 50% new French oak adds length and nuanced toast. It has the precision and length to age nicely for a half-decade or longer. Paul Gregutt
