Panther Creek 2017 Maverick Vineyard Pinot Noir (Yamhill-Carlton)

From a young site, planted in 2013, this wine boasts flavors that have an effusive fruitiness. It's soft and seductive, an inch deep but a mile wide. Black cherries, lemony herbs and a wash of chocolate from one-third new French oak make this a tasty wine for near-term drinking. Paul Gregutt
