Paplow 2017 Boushey Vineyard G-S-M (Yakima Valley)

A blend of 50% Grenache, 18% Syrah, 17% Mourvèdre, 13% Cinsault and 2% Viognier, fruit for this wine comes from one of the state's top sites. The aromas are brooding, with notes of black pepper, blueberry, raspberry compote and spice. A full-bodied, full-flavored, ripe, creamy palate follows, with waves of intensity. It's an unabashedly full-throttle interpretation of this site. Sean P. Sullivan
