Paradise Springs 2017 The Roshi Red (California)

There's an intriguing array of aromas on the nose of this blend of 55% Petit Verdot, 18% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc and 12% Merlot, from black plum and dried lilac to iodine and kelp. The palate combines boysenberry, lavender, tangy black plum and a hint of white pepper, making for a fresh style. Matt Kettmann
