A nice wine with almost everything in the right place. It starts with medium-intensity black cherry and plum aromas, with a hint of pickle and leather in the background. The palate is lively and full of brimming cherry and raspberry flavors, while the finish is stout and tannic, with vanilla and cream to warm things up. Packed and serious for a $14 wine.
