Pascal & Alain Lorieux 2018 Cuvée Agnès Sorel (Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil)

Named after the mistress of French King Charles VII who lived nearby in Loches, this wine is rich and concentrated. Its has plenty of the smoky character typical of Cabernet Franc. Everything is extra rich and dense, with powerful black fruits and layers of tannin. Age the wine further and drink from 2021. Roger Voss
