94pointsPascal Clément 2017 Corton-Charlemagne

Subtle notes of chalk, earth, vanilla, cream and stone make for a compelling nose on this wine. The palate sweeps these notions up in billowy creaminess and seeming ease. All is anchored in concentration and a core of fruit and stone. This wine is balanced, concentrated, understated, long and lasting. The stony, creamy finish is very moreish. Drink until 2035.
